Improving outcomes for people with Advanced Breast Cancer

For people living with advanced breast cancer (ABC), symptom management is essential for maintaining quality of life. This paper details how Breast Cancer Foundation NZ partnered with Cemplicity to introduce a digital, remote symptom monitoring system — enabling earlier interventions, better adherence, and fewer emergency visits. Supported by evidence from landmark studies, it shows how integrating clinical decision support with real-time patient-reported outcomes can revolutionise cancer care and resource allocation.
